NJSOpera Principal Auditions
At the New Jersey State Opera, our mission is multi-faceted. Our greatest efforts are being applied to:
- bringing the best of the art form back to the grandest stages in our state,
- preserving the highest standards of operatic productions and take the NJSOpera onwards and upwards with unique productions featuring local, national and international talent, and
- encouraging the growth of this historic State company by producing the finest art possible, both by featuring the best stars of opera’s current stages and encouraging the investment in the singers of tomorrow.
Auditions are held periodically throughout the year. The purpose of these auditions is to identify young and established singers who may be hired for our concerts and operas. Applicants must provide evidence of professional experience performing in operas or other singing roles. Serious inquiries only, please.
Young artists, ages 18 and older, will be considered for NJSOpera’s education programs and smaller regional concerts.
